1. What this notice covers

A cookie is a small file a website stores in your browser. Similar technologies, such as local storage, tracking pixels and fingerprinting, do the same job differently. Under Spanish and EU law (Article 22.2 LSSI), a website may store or read information on your device only with your consent, unless it is strictly necessary to provide a service you asked for.

This notice covers primeperspectives.io, the newsletter pages at newsletter.primeperspectives.io and my newsletter emails. Who I am and how to reach me is set out in the Privacy Policy (§1).

2. The website

Analytics. I use only the analytics built into the website platform, Framer (Privacy Policy §7.3). It sets no cookies, stores nothing on your device and creates no identifier that recognises you later. It counts visits from a one-way hash of your IP address and browser, combined with a secret value that is replaced and deleted every 24 hours, so a visit today cannot be linked to one tomorrow. I see totals only: which pages are read, the referring site, campaign tags in the link (UTM), browser, operating system, device type and country. Because nothing is stored on or read from your device, no consent is needed.

Technical operation. The platform may use short-lived technical mechanisms to deliver pages quickly and securely. They are strictly necessary, have no analytics or advertising purpose and need no consent.

Forms. The newsletter sign-up form and the contact form are part of this website, built with Framer. Neither sets a cookie, and no code from my newsletter platform or any other provider loads with them. When you sign up, your email address is passed through an automation service (Make) to my newsletter platform (beehiiv), which then sends you a confirmation email. How your address and messages are handled is explained in the Privacy Policy (§3.1 and §3.7).

Links to YouTube, Spotify and Apple Podcasts. Episodes are linked, not embedded. Nothing from these platforms loads on this website. When you click a link, you go to that platform, and its own privacy and cookie policy applies from then on.

Nothing else. There is no Google Analytics, advertising cookie, Meta or LinkedIn pixel, retargeting, heatmap, session recording, A/B testing or fingerprinting on this website.

3. The newsletter pages

The newsletter archive and landing pages at newsletter.primeperspectives.io are hosted by my newsletter platform, beehiiv. When you open them, beehiiv's platform sets some cookies straight away, before you make a choice in the cookie banner shown there. These are set by beehiiv, not by a setting I control. I have asked beehiiv to confirm what each of them does, and I will update this notice once they reply. Beyond these, cookies are set only after you accept them in the banner. You can change your choice through the same banner, and delete cookies in your browser settings, at any time. Details: beehiiv Privacy Policy.

4. The newsletter emails

Emails cannot contain cookies, but mine contain two tracking elements: a small invisible image that tells my email platform (beehiiv) an email was opened, and links that record a click. You agree to this when you subscribe (Privacy Policy §3.3 and §4). You can stop it at any time:

• Block remote images in your email app. This stops open tracking completely. Apple Mail Privacy Protection does this by default.

• Write to privacy@primeperspectives.io. Either I stop using your engagement data while you stay subscribed, or I delete your record completely. The Privacy Policy (§3.3) explains why these are the two options.

• Unsubscribe with one click in any email. This ends all tracking.

5. Managing cookies yourself

You can block or delete cookies at any time in your browser settings. This website works fully without them.

6. Changes

If I ever add anything that needs your consent, I will update this notice first. It will go live together with a consent banner in which rejecting is as easy as accepting.
